Our Story

We were born and raised in Warkworth, are based in Whangarei and remain
connected to Te Taitokerau through our whakapapa. We committed to raising our own, now independent, children here and are currently supporting our own Marae, whanau and wider communities in Northland.

While we have traveled overseas, we maintain that New Zealand, and in particular Te Taitokerau, cannot be touched in terms of its beauty and history.

Our individual journeys have been very different as you will see below, but our fundamental values and work ethic is built on the same strong foundation. We have both been successful in our independent careers and have now come together to build our business based on a clear need to strengthen and improve building stock and to support whanau in our communities. While our priorities lie in Te Taitokerau, as we are connected and this is important to us, we would also consider needs outside of the area as and when they present themselves.

Cedric Beazley

I am a trade qualified Carpenter with extensive experience in the construction industry, both residential and commercial. Commercial building and residential property assessments have been my core business focus since early 2000 and subsequently I have been engaged by private owners, central and local government agencies and private insurers. Working for both EQC and a global Loss Adjusting firm in Christchurch, Kaikoura, Wellington and Auckland for seven years has ensured my skill base and natural empathy in times of need has shone through. My skills extend to but are not limited to estimation, quality assurance, project management and draughting.

Viv Beazley

My formal qualifications are in Education with specific knowledge and skills in teaching and management. My years of experience in governance, management, leadership, strategic planning, project and asset management has enhanced my ability to work across a number of sectors and industries. I have worked in management roles in government, non-government, Iwi organisations, private companies and in the not-for-profit sector. My experience extends to governance in schools as a trustee and currently as co-chairperson for a community organisation. This has meant I have developed effective communication and relationship skills with high levels of written reporting.
